After the shop drawing and engineering processes are completed, our team still has a lot of work ahead of them. The dedicated operations team member who handles the project will work to perform a production release. All of the design team comments need to be reviewed and corrected. They may need to generate Requests for Information (RFI) to obtain additional details or for clarity. At this time, we are also obtaining surveys of foundations, anchor bolts, embedded plates, and more to ensure the actual field conditions match the prepared plans.
Once the modeling is complete, we can then download all of the project’s specifics directly from our modeling software into our CMC machinery for the most accurate fabrication. At this time our operations team is coordinating the installation schedule, material deliveries, purchasing, crane/rigging services, and all of the remaining pieces of the puzzle.
